The Skeleton Sweater, Done Properly

Most skeleton sweaters are a plastisol print on a cheap sweatshirt: they crack in a winter, fade in two. Ours is a real knitted jacquard. The ribcage is made of wool, not ink, knitted bone by bone into the fabric on Italian flat-bed machines. It cannot crack, because it is not on the sweater. It is the sweater.

Questions

Answered

Is the skeleton printed on?

No. The motif is knitted into the fabric itself (jacquard/intarsia). There is no print to crack or peel: the pattern is made of yarn, and it lasts as long as the garment.

What is it made of?

A heavyweight wool-blend knit, produced to order in an Italian knitwear atelier with 40 years of experience. Exact composition is listed on each product page.

How long does delivery take?

Each piece is knitted to order. Current lead time is 2 to 3 weeks plus shipping: the price of not being mass-produced.
