Why a knitted skeleton beats a printed one
A printed skeleton sweater is ink sitting on a sweatshirt: it cracks in one winter and fades in two. A knitted skeleton sweater is a different animal. The ribcage is bone-white yarn, worked into the black acrylic or wool blend bone by bone on industrial flat-bed machines. There is no print to peel, because the skeleton is the fabric. It reads from across a room and lasts as long as the yarn.
Every piece is knitted to order in an Italian atelier with forty years of knitwear behind it, unisex sizing S to 2XL. Ribcages, skeletons, bats and graveyards: the whole bone family, done properly.
Is the skeleton printed on?
No. The motif is knitted into the fabric itself (jacquard/intarsia). There is no print to crack or peel: the pattern is made of yarn, and it lasts as long as the garment.
What is it made of?
A heavyweight knit in 100% acrylic or in 80% wool and 20% polyamide: you choose the yarn on the product page, and the price follows it. Produced to order in an Italian knitwear atelier with 40 years of experience.
How long does delivery take?
Each piece is knitted to order. Current lead time is 2 to 3 weeks plus shipping: the price of not being mass-produced.
