Strega fashion done by people who actually knit: a long, loose black duster cardigan with an oversized shawl collar, asymmetric hem and a landscape of mixed stitch textures. Ribs, moss stitch, and a row of bone-white occult sigils knitted along the hem, running the whole way around. The silhouette floats; the yarn means it.

Knitted, not printed
The motif is jacquard: bone-white and coloured yarns carried through the black acrylic or wool blend row by row on an industrial flat-bed machine. There is no ink, no transfer and no embroidery on top. Pattern and garment are the same object, so nothing can crack or peel.
Fabric and fit
Two yarns, two prices: 100% acrylic, or 80% wool and 20% polyamide, the warmer of the two; in 80% wool, the colours are confirmed by email before we knit. A finer yarn is possible on request, priced separately. Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 2XL: the standard measurements are in the table next to the sizes. Between sizes, take the bigger one.

Your piece is knitted after you order it: the chart goes on the machine, the yarn is mounted, then it is linked, hand-finished and steamed. Two to three weeks, plus shipping. No dead stock, no warehouse.

Strega dressing done by people who actually knit, so the drape comes from the yarn rather than from a photograph.
This is the piece that shows what a flat-bed machine can do beyond pictures. Four different stitch structures in one garment, each with its own tension, all of which have to end up the same width or the panels will not link together. Then the hem: a row of bone-white sigils, crosses of Leviathan and brimstone marks among them, knitted straight into the fabric and running the whole way around, so the piece keeps talking when you are walking away.
Long and loose, falling to mid-thigh on most people, with the shawl collar deep enough to sit up around the neck when it is closed. Unisex sizing S to 2XL, true to size; the silhouette is meant to float, so do not size up unless you want it floor-length. The model is 176 cm and wears M.
Knitted to order in the atelier, two to three weeks, then free tracked shipping worldwide. This is the heaviest piece in the collection and the one most punished by a hanger, so fold it. The silhouette floats, and the yarn means it.
Is the motif printed or knitted?
Knitted. Every line of the pattern is yarn carried through the black acrylic or wool blend on a flat-bed machine, not ink on the surface. That is why it survives the wash and why the back of the fabric shows the pattern in negative.
Which size should I take?
Relaxed unisex fit, true to size, S to 2XL, with flat measurements in centimetres on the size guide. Take your usual size to wear it open, one up if you want it to sit longer over the hip.
How do I wash it without ruining it?
Follow the care instructions for your yarn, 100% acrylic or 80% wool and 20% polyamide: they ship with the piece. Fold it to store it: heavy knit on a hanger stretches at the shoulders.
